Region

From the hill of Corton running south to the town of Beaune and Santenay at it`s tip, the Côte de Beaune represents the southern half of the vineyards of Côte d`Or. It is famous for its mix of Grand and Premier Cru white and red wines including Montrachet, Corton, Puligny, Pommard and Volnay.

Producer

Jean Claude Prior acquired a vineyard holding in Santenay and established his Domaine in 1804. In 1955, descendant Guy Prior, married Elisabeth Brunet of Meursault whos family vineyard was consolidated within the estate. The current vineyard holding of over 20 hectares is spread across the six major wine-producing villages of the Côte de Beaune, and allows a wide diversity of high quality wines.
