Region

The Languedoc is a vast region stretching across much of the south and Mediterranean and is France`s single largest vineyard entity for its Vins de Pays wines. Within the Languedoc lie several distinctly identified Vins de Pays (including the l`Aude, Gard and Hérault) and many generic appellations that maintain traditional local blends and wine styles such as Minervois, Corbières, Pic Saint Loup and Fitou.

Producer

LGI were created in 1999 by forward thinking partners aware of the challenge and opportunity that lay ahead for regional French wines in the competitive international market. Wines are made and blended from three main sources; Saint Chinian in the Herault, Jean d`Alibert in Minervois and from Gascogny. Quality of Languedoc and Gascogne varietals exceeds expectation and presentation is second to none.

Tasting (Long)

This soft and fruity Languedoc blend of Grenache and Carignan is generous and supple with an intricate structure. Layers of soft summer fruits and rich berry flavours reflect the warmth of the Mediterranean, with a subtle spicy finish.

Tasting (Short)

A delightfully soft fruity wine with layers of summer fruit and rich berry flavours that reflect the warmth of the Mediterranean.

Food

This soft and versatile red can be enjoyed unaccompanied or with light meats, pates, pasta and grilled vegetables.
