The Denbies vineyard is one of the the most extensive in England, occupying the slopes of Box Hill in Dorking, Surrey. It was established as the largest single vineyard estate in England in 1986. The impressive variety of aromatic still and sparkling wines have received an impressive collection of awards.
Tasting (Long)
This classic English red blend made from Pinot Noir and Dornfelder is grown on the chalky hillsides above this excellent vineyard near Dorking. A rich and fairly full bodied dry red with bright crimson hues. The smooth palate displays berry fruit characters and delivers a firm finish. Excellent example of greatly improved wine making in the English countryside.
