Producer
Founded by Manuel Maria González in 1835, González Byass is still a family business passionate about producing Sherry of exceptional and consistent quality. The company remains dedicated to the production of Sherry, with special emphasis on Fino. The flagship ‘Tio Pepe’ was the first Fino Sherry exported to Great Britain in 1844 and today the González Byass portfolio represents the very best of both the traditional face of Spanish wine, and modern winemaking innovation. Recent additions have included the bottling of Sherry `en rama` as it would be served from the cask and the “Palmas” range of aged Fino’s also bottled unfiltred from rare individual casks.
Tasting (Long)
An aged blend of Palomino wines sweetened by the addition of Pedro Ximenez and matured for a further 3 years in the traditional solera system. Elegante has a deep mahogany colour, clean and full aroma of dried nuts and raisins and a supple velvety mouthfeel.

A deep mahogany colour with clean and full aroma of dried nuts and raisins and a supple sweet velvety finish.
Food
Perfect as an aperitif or as a dessert wine with fruit or blue cheese.
