Gruner Veltliner

Grüner Veltliner is Austria’s flagship white varietal. It is planted in more than a third of the country’s vineyard achieving dominance around Vienna in Niederösterreich.

It can produce a wide range of wine styles from easy drinking to powerful whites, concentrated with spice, pepper and fruit and often reflecting the minerality of the vineyard terroir.

The restrained spicy aromatics, lemon and mineral palate combined with a racy acidity make Grüner Veltliner an excellent food accompaniment, especially with Oriental foods.
