Quinta de Gomariz

Quinta de Gomariz only started making wines in 2005 and employs the region’s leading winemaker Antonio Sousa. Within a few years Gomariz has won ‘Best Wine 2009’ against all other Vinho Verde producers at the Vinhos Verdes Regional Contest.

Using a number of local grape varieties including Loureiro, Alvarinho, Avesso and Vinhao, the Quinta has become the foremost estate producer in the Minho with a modern range of expressive varietal Vinho Verde wine.
