Region

The appellation of Côtes de Provence covers a wide swathe of land from Aix east to Cannes. Although much of the production is of dry rosé wine made from Cinsault, Carignan, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, it does also cover red and white wines. Provence has a warm Mediterranean climate with adequate rainfall and the cold Mistral wind provides cooling influence but the best sites are usually sheltered.

Producer

Domaine Tropez was born in 1996 and since then it has assembled a number of AOC Cotes de Provence vines, covering over 40 hectares. Domaine Tropez wines are bright and lively as a result of the strong influence of the clay and limestone soils along with the Mediterranean climate. The vineyard has undergone major reconstruction calling for a large investment to build a state-of-the-art wine cellar. In 2020, they were officially certified sustainable, and they continue to work with organic practices.
Tasting Notes
Pale peachy pink colour with silvery highlights. The nose is fine and expressive, presenting pure, vibrant aromas of tropical fruits, white peach and subtle floral notes. The palate is silky and full of finesse and the tangy acidity adds zest to a clean, quenching finish.
Food
Delightful as an aperitif or would pair well with seafood and salad dishes.
